Officers investigating a road traffic collision in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
Dorset Police received a report at 1.51pm on Wednesday 12 November 2025 of a collision involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian on Alma Road, at the junction with Stokewood Road and Bingham Road.
It was reported that the male motorcyclist assisted the pedestrian, a woman aged in her 60s, in getting to the side of the road but then left the scene without leaving his details.
Emergency services attended and the woman was taken to hospital for treatment to a suspected broken ankle.
Police Constable Aidan Brooks, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are continuing our enquiries into this incident and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police, as well as anyone with relevant dashcam footage.
“I am also issuing images we have obtained of the motorcyclist involved, which may assist in jogging the memory of anyone who was in the vicinity around the relevant time.”
